Tenebrous Caverns. These mushrooms in water here look wierd.

Ah, I see. Yeah, they looked fine back when the base of the base terrain of mushroom groves was cave (Uu). Should I just revert the base terrain back to cave?

Are the mushrooms just for decoration, or do they have a specific balance-related purpose? (Slowing down fliers, providing extra-defensible places to fight from, etc.)

If they're just for decoration, yeah, do whatever looks good. (You might even consider whether they would look good growing in the water.) If they've got a balance-related purpose, you'll want to make sure that putting them over cave floor doesn't mess that up.

Character description of Mahir:
It says that he would 'bludgeon' vampires to death if given the chance. But he is a Duellist and more likely to stab/dice them to death.

I feel bad for Krog with his Character description.

Known Issues
  • AMLA system for heroes will be immediately applied after they gain their first AMLA if you are not starting from the first scenario. So, it's not an issue. You just have to give them a bit more XP. Sorry about this.
  • S10 might be unwinnable. I am still playing through all the new stuff I did and would get to it by Monday.

Announcement
After this version updated, v.0.5.3.10, I think Episode I can be considered to be fully complete and playable. All future version updates would be for episode 2 unless balance changes for episode 1 would be necessary. Additionally, my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays so no clue how episode 2's progress would be this year. I aim to finish this...

Hey Lord-Knightmare, first off awesome campaign, loved the battle types, races and overall story. I played it back when it was The Legend Begins back on 1.10.7. I've been looking for it for awhile, finally had to go back and find the name on that version. I'm currently playing on 1.14.16, and I was wondering if you were planning on adding the campaign to that add-on library, or if I should download 1.16 and find it on there? Once again, thanks for making this awesome campaign.

First of all, thank you, for reminding me that people actually play this. :lol:

Well, good news for you. I am spending most of the lockdown in preparation for Hero of Irdya (Book I)'s completion. First episode is available on the 1.15.x add-on server and is undergoing patches almost every day. I am hopefully that when the 1.15.x enters the RC phase, I can have HoI1 ready for it.

Also, regarding any 1.14.16 releases, this version was out during my university stress times so I was unable to well..do anything. So, I am targeting 1.15.x for the completion.

Thanks for the quick response mate. Looking forward to actually finishing the full campaign. I'll probably wait and play the full episode I when you finish it, since I'm currently playing the Invasion from the Unknown and War of the Dragon series. I appreciate the hard work you put into it. BTW, what do you mean by RC?

RC stands for Release Candidate. It means there won't be any new features being added after that and only bugfixes and polishing.

Announcement:
I know 1.16.x add-on server is now available but I have some news:

I will NOT port Hero of Irdya I to the new add-on server until it reaches completion. If you're curious, episode 2 is 50% done and episode 3 (the final one of HoI1 is like 3 scenarios plus some optional ones). Wish me luck, ladies and gentlemen.

If you're wondering why I am making this decision, I have been leaving this incomplete for 1.12, 1.14 and 1.15...so I am not going to do the same thing for 1.16. If it reaches the latest stable, it will be as a complete add-on, not some WIP.
