stderr? How can I display this on Mac OS 10.8.6?

Run The Battle for Wesnoth in a terminal emulator to capture its standard error (stderr) stream as it runs.

In Mac OS X 10.6.8 (I don’t know whether this applies for Apple OS X 10.8.6, though), you could start The Battle for Wesnoth in a terminal emulator by right-clicking on Wesnoth.app and selecting “Show Package Contents” from the resultant context-menu, navigating to Contents/MacOS, then opening the Wesnoth file in that folder.

You could also (again, in Mac OS X 10.6.8) try to find its stderr output in the application /Applications/Utilities/Console.app or in the file /var/log/system.log.

It’s not the add-on name, it’s the name of a file or directory within the add-on.

Nope, using a different client version won’t magically convince the server to let it pass. Check your file/dir names.

Nope, using a different client version won’t magically convince the server to let it pass. Check your file/dir names.

Nice story, but at times really impossible and lenghty.
There was no problem with first episode, second had quite a few.
1. Sentry's advancemnet leads to an error- got around without playing 'em
2. In the scenario after rescuing the princess, the elvish leader type was missing - got around by changing him into a an elvish lord.
3. Sentry created problem in some other scenario as well, removed it frm allies recruit list and moved on.
4. The warrior and wizard evethough managed to finish some error msgs kept appearing thru out.
5. Evacuation for some reason is not loading couldn't identify wht the prblm is. Error msg says : "creating unit with empty playing field"

Hope you can fix this soon (don't wanna leave the campaign midway would like to finish in the weekend), may be i can tinker it if you could tell me wht the prblm is.
Ps: I continued to second from first as I didn't want to loose my veteran loyal drakes.

What? Please send me your save file. I shall investigate this more closely.

Announcement: Only four scenarios are left to be coded and thus, you all can expect TLB to be finished by July 2014 (hopefully)...Till then...It's time to study for the IAL AS examinations...
