Well, it's your decision, but I think big maps like that will drastically lower the number of people that like it.

Hmm... Wait, that includes me. I like the campaign, I >>>don't<<< like the maps.

Re: Campaign Review: Story of the Slimes (version 0.4.0)
Just played through the second scenario. I think the second map takes too long after the point that the result is known.
The fight to get the central castle is interesting. Once I had the central castle, I'd clearly won the map. I had enough income to recruit lots of berserkers, enough to overpower the rest of the map without strategy. But it takes a lot time from that point to finish the map.
The goblin was already dead; and the bottom-right leader was sending units in groups of 2 or 3 units, which walked to my queueing line of berserkers. If he recruited waves of enemies then it might be better. Maybe have him send one huge wave when then central castle is taken, and then flee once that wave has been killed.
Edit: Playing with Wesnoth 1.9.9 + SoS 0.4.0, the third scenario's shroud and fog are strange. The parts that are only visible to the allied side still have fog, but the shroud is cleared based on the allies' movements.

Currently updating the SurvivalXtreme Collection, and the SXC Pressure scenario. That's about a mermish necromancer, who's just found out that her Tentacles Of The Deep have been nerfed.

I will try and fix the second part (thought I do not know how). I will also consider minimizing the second map a bit.

Re: Campaign Review: Story of the Slimes
Alright everybody! I am in the process of making the next scenario! It will include elves, as I have not included them prior. I will also include some undead at some point. So, if you have any bright ideas that can spice up the 4th scenario, tell me!

I would prefer it if you didn't spam this with random pictures (or at least hide them in a spoiler with a label).
The new Honey Badger unit is nearly completed! It will be added tomorrow!

Re: Story of the Slimes 0.4.1: HONEY BADGER??
Just added a Honey Badger! It is pretty strong compared to other Lv. 1 units, and I would like feedback on it and the campaign in general if at all possible! Thanks to all who downloaded! I hope you enjoy it!

I have been following this thread, and I am really excited by all these awesome slimes, but will it be downloaded for 1.8?

Re: Story of the Slimes 0.4.1: Write a Review to Help
I'll be honest, I don't really think so. I don't exactly have the time. If someone wants to port it to 1.8x, be my guest. I will give credit of course, but I'm just used to using 1.9x now.
As for the addition of new slimes, I will plan on adding a cold and arcane slime (maybe more. The protagonist may change to fit the game [in a good way]). I am also looking for suggestions on idle and attack animations, if anybody has any.
Thanks, and keep checking for updates!

Alright guys! I have here a new quiz if you would care to fill it out! I love any and all submissions!
1) Is this campaign so far enjoyable?
2) Which scenarios, if any, are too easy?
3) Which scenarios, if any, are too hard?
4) Do you like the current units and their attacks/defenses?
5) Would you like it if the Slimes made it to an MP era?
6) Would you be interested in contributing to this campaign with any of your thoughts or new ideas?
7) What could I do to make this campaign even better than it is now?
