Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Oops
I like you like it
I have edited the first one, I don't need it anymore. Just that I would have had an easier job if you gave me this one back then.
Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Oh ok, sorry for that. First time I've provided a save file, so I didn't realize that certain files are better than others. Now I know for next time.
Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Is the ability "tax collector" and the boots of "Taxes" supposed to be a benefit or a penalty to the wearer? I thought it was a benefit, but the implementation is penalty (you lose money when you hit people) and the wording is arguable.
Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Penality.
@dugiWhen this unit hits an enemy, it has a chance to tax its side and part it from some gold.
How about changing the description to '...to tax it's own side...' to make it clearer?
This is 'already' the 3rd person asking about it. ^^

Bug on Doctrine of Vindictiveness advancements:
In the requirements for second and third advancements, should be: DoV1 and DoV2 instead of DOV1 and DOV2

Also how is Tome of Bards II supposed to work?
Should you be able to get all 3 advancements?
Do you have to make a choice between the last 2?

Thanks, I offered you commit access so that you would not have to ask for my approval.
Yes, it's a typo. I tested only the abilities, not the advancements. Fixed on github.dragonite33 wrote: ↑November 2nd, 2018, 10:21 pm Bug on Doctrine of Vindictiveness advancements:

Yes. Pick the first and then select between second and third.dragonite33 wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2018, 2:40 am Also how is Tome of Bards II supposed to work?

Also the unholy breed lethalia disappears in the last crusade whenever i change gear on her.
It does not recognize the type "Lethalia_evil_good"
Edit: nvm it works fine if you take the things off 1 at a time instead of all at once

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
I would love to see item that gives loyal trait
Re: Legend of the Invincibles
This has already been reported here. However, if you have a save file allowing to test it conveniently, please upload it.dragonite33 wrote: ↑November 3rd, 2018, 9:26 pm Also the unholy breed lethalia disappears in the last crusade whenever i change gear on her.

Because there are already units that can steal from enemies, I guess this wouldn't be game-breaking. However, it would be much more powerful than other gold-related items, so the item would need some drawbacks. I am giving you an option to design it.

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
I would heavily advise against making this a craftable item. In combination with the gem vendors this could lead to some ugly interactions (or the item is so pricey that it's simply never worth to craft it). As an effect on droppable items I think this is a cool idea!

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
What about the book that gives you loyal status like the one that give you fearless status?
Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Where would be the drawback then?
Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Of using the loyal book? No drawback.
Of having the loyal book in existence? Fewer useful books.
I don't find money to be a problem, so more of it would not be noticably helpful. If you really like money, put the Generous Armour on a loyal unit and let it sit around every scenario. See if you can notice a difference in your wealth by the end of the chapter.
