The campaign is only one scenario long.

The catch: it is unlimited turns, and the objectives change several times during the scenario :) .

whenever I try to start the campaign, I get error: unknown scenario "sea_voyage_-1"

any hints?

did you get it off the campaign server?

if not, did you put it in ~/.wesnoth, or did you put it in /usr/share/games/wesnoth (or equivalent for your OS)? (second option is wrong).

new version 0.2.3 (campaign server still says 0.2, not sure why).

i guess i'll keep posting "tar.gz"s here until 0.8.5 is out and the general population can get it from server.


IIRC (doubtful. ;) ) there are 7 scenarios in this release. might be only 6 though.

and you can preview the map for the final scenario. its in the maps dir. but is not referred to by a scenario file.

As the other i posted already some are really good and balanced...others...well :roll:

When 0.8.5 arrives i will re-edit them and post them here :P...

Some of them are more than one map long...well you will see it...

Cool. First 10 all look very cool. I will probably use 1.0-1.2, and i'll try to use as many of the others as possible.

(the hardest thing is knowing when to stop. I think i'll have 15 scenarios total, and since all are optional people will probably play at most 12 or so (except for those looking for a challenge. >) Since i already have 8 scenarios, i think i'll only use about 7 in this batch, and i won't be able to use any more. :( ).

In any case, i think i've chosen my favorite 6 out of those two batches (based on asthetics and originality, not balance), and i'm going to make scenarios for them. That gives me a total of 15 maps, and since I have about 8 scenarios done... I need 7 more. Time to get to work! You've been much more productive making maps than i have been with scenarios. :)

BTW new release on campaign server. I figure its a big enough release (about 3 new scenarios, preview maps) to get a 0.x+1 increment, not an 0.x.y+1 increment. :)
