For the scenario Revelation, at the beginning of very turn, ithilien has a message that says: "TEST MESSAGE. Dam_destroyed is 0, dam_phase is 1." (The numbers increase as objectives are fulfilled) Is this campaign/scenario in the middle of being debugged?

*** Nevermind on the below. Finally figured it out. Gah...

I can't find the black powder after capturing every single village on the map. I'm wondering if it's an error due to debugging. Or is it in a destroyed village or not in a village altogether? I don't want to give up on the campaign but after playing this scenario multiple times, I'm beginning to wonder if it is a development error.

I didn't install the tweaks addon. Once I had this issue I did install the addon but didn't see any changes.

Errors for scenario Revelation?

If Ithilien dies, the scenario continues. According to the scenario objectives the player should be defeated.

I can't get the scenario accomplished. After blowing the dam, I went to high ground and it told me to go to the south east position point. However, in the objectives dialogue it continued to say that I was supposed to go to high ground. I went to the south east marker anyway, went over it with all three units, and nothing happened. Am I missing something?

Well ... Good evening each and everyone ...

Once more stuck in the middle of nowhere, after trying at least 10 times ...

In the scenario "A new world", I've been trying every village, discovering all the map, and still ... "You've lost !"

For sure, I miss my Paladin, but no way to find out ... if anyone among you could help me with this issue, I'd be so glad !

I play version 0.2.9 and stuck at "A New World" scenario.
I play it countless time using different route, but still can't pass this scenario. Always turns run out.
Please give me some hint or clue. PLEASEEEEEEE

I also notify that we can recall all loyal heroes, Including the 4 that we can find it in the map when exploring. LOL

Where the hell did all these error pop up from?
I go away for a while, and decided to take a peek and I see this.

ugh...

@CorotAlas - all hereos should be neat the sea. Once you get them all, a you need to do is come close to the mountain at the top of the map. There should be a Phoenix and a hydra fighting, short scene and after that you go to the mountain, there is a small passage there.

You shouldn't be able to recall anything or anyone.

@sonofhobos - did Lotion arrive? Because he will be evacuating as well. The level ends when both of you escape, but he is slower, so it might take a few turns. I tested it several times and the rear guard buys him more than enough time, and you can reach him to help him evacute in worst case.

I think I might be going [censored]..I can't find my files anymore.

I know I've been away for a while...but I was sure there was a campaign or userdata folder inside the Wesnoth main folder...

That's where it originally was located, but recent versions of Wesnoth tend to store user data in the user's home/personal folder. For version 1.14, clicking the "i" button in the bottom left corner will show the exact location. (On Windows this will be something like Documents\My Games\Wesnoth1.14.)

I've been seen searching in AppData/Roaming Locale and Locallow instead of MyGames like a [censored].

Typos are easiest to fix

Farewells by the Sea
First ship you can board: after it sails away the 'GO HERE' icon stays and you can still use it to end the scenario.

EDIT 2:
On turn 25 the defeat condition 'Turns run out' is added, but there is no turnlimit.
Turn limit set to 27.
I'll still have to look into fixing the departure with a variable. DONE.

1. The scenario has no saurian leader.

2. The scenario objectives do not update after finding all heroes.

3. I found some units around 52,33, but they didn't talk to me, instead one of my mages I found earlier calls out 'Thanks the Gods!'.

4. Past turn 18 or something like that nothing really happens, until on turn 30 monsters spawn at some random places. But inbetween you have 12 turns where you just walk north and nothing ever happens.

3. That is normal. Not every encounter needs walls of text.

4. monsters are spawned randomly in waves, but perhaps I ust changes ti so fewer spawn, but now they do every 5 turns.

Apparently I can still recruit Cavalarymen, but Horsemen are no longer an option?
I wanted to limit that to only a few recruitable units. Have to look into changing that.


Just like Poachers, I couldn't recruit Sergeants before.
The 'Engineer' has no attack animation and his attack has no icon.
The 'Healer' and 'Priestess of Light' attack animations are (still) a mess. (And the 'proper' ranged animation looks like someone accidentally fixed a point between missle and the unit in place and moved both around it, instead of moving the missle only.)
Also, 'Priestess of Light' has no illumination halo.
Odd. Engineer works fine for me.
The healer and PoL do have some oddities with attacking.
Fixed illumination
If Ellderon declines to become a Crusader, he does not become a Grand Marshall of Light, he just doesn't change at all.
After Lotion becomes a Crusader he can pick AMLA instead of advancing to lvl 4.
Hmm... Can't seem to find anything that would be causing this

EDIT 2:
That scene after 'Preparations' (the first scene in 'Sacrifice', which still sports the Lua error which is linked to the transformation from a Grand Marshall to a Grand Marshall of Light), is that from some anime?

It's a dead end -> end.

EDIT:
Your version of 'cleave' (on Holy Avenger) causes my unit to attack before the killed unit actually 'dies'.
I kill a unit with the attack -> I get xp for the kill -> I attack every enemy unit around me (this includes the killed unit that didn't 'die' yet) -> I gain xp for every attack/kill.
Since the 'killed' unit is killed again, I basically get double xp for every kill.
