The Inheritance

I am going to create a campaign now. It is called "The Inheritance"

The Story:
The Father (Tom) of the main character (What do you think, is "Elran" a good name?) died. So Elran should get the half part of his fathers inheritance, which Elrans brother is keeping. But Elran don't know where he could find his brother is.
So he begin to search him. Moran ([is this a good name?] his friend), is helping him. Elran know, that his brother (Drororas?) is a Marshall of one of King Konrads armys. But, during the time Drororas has become mad, and forgot the inheritance, and want to kill Konrad, because he (Konrad) don't want to allow Drororas to leaf wesnoth, and conquer other continents, because Konrad know that Drororas would build up an giant army, and come back top wesnoth and capture it (and other continents if there are other ones)....

That should be the story...
What do you think about the story and the names?
Maybe I'll change small some parts, but I just start to create this campaign.

I think I'll post the art for this campaign here, in this topic.
The image should be Elran. Maybe I should make him brighter?

Here is an "new" image of Elran. I made it a bit brighter and set the contrasts higher.

Drororas doesn't sound like it comes from the same language/culture as Elran, Moran and Tom. Other than that, everything seems good.

"Moran" reminds me of "moron", but maybe that's just me. If you disregard that similarity in spelling, it's not a bad name.

You mean "moron" means "dark one"?

Maybe I should call "Drororas" "Moron", or "Maron"...
Than the first "Maron" or "Moron" could be named "Karus"?

Maybe the name will be like this:

No no no... "moron" is an insult roughly equivalent to "idiot" or "stupid dumb***"...

I believe it originally meant "an adult with the intelligence of an 8-12 year old", and then got used analogously as a term of abuse.

No, Moran means that. "Mor" has been used commonly in various stories to mean "black", "death", "dark", etc. and the suffix "-an" has sometimes meant "one". (as in person, not as in single.)
But I suppose that's not important.

I think I'll use Moron...
It doesn't mean it (black, death, dark) direct, but if you think about it, you notice, that it's similar to Moran...

Here is a portrait for Elran (Yes, it is a Konrad portrait with changed colors[hair and shirt].)

I've updated the story a bit:

edited: During the search Elran and Karus (?) get caught by an patrol of Akladian troop (I hope I am allowed to use them). They have the fight for they liberty, in an arena. (Maybe I'll use a kind of DotM for the scenario?

), than they (hopefully) get free, and continue searching the evil brother...
