I have PM'ed all my opponents also. You were the only one who responded. I have been on quite a bit lately but no one from my group shows up :?.

If one of them doesn't show up, could I take their place?

If you wish, why not?

I suggest you begin playing game against available players (like me  ); then, after a few days, I will replace the least active player by you ^_^

Gnork:

My playing time will be very limited and unpredictable for the next 4 months, and it seems no one in my division is ever around during the times that I do end up with a block of free time, so-

You could give Thrawn my spot, if you want.

Unless you want to wait four months. ;) Though, at the rate this has been going, maybe that's not so long of a wait? :lol2:

Thrawn, if you do take my spot, it would be cool if you represented the brutality of the Grunt/Adept team. 8)

I hope to do it justice--I can visualize how it *should* work, but putting putting theory into practice is my weakness XD I would gladly sub in with your chosen units!

A few questions:

1)Are the names in the OP their screen-names on the server?

2)This is on the 1.8.6 server, right?

3)Where can I find the maps to be used for these matches?

The players' names used are the same as in on the first post of this this thread.

This tourney is on the 1.9 server as of now, not sure when it clicks over to 1.10.0.

The maps to use come in the add-on pyr-maps by nani and Dunno. The era to use is posted on page 21 of this thread. You must use the pyr maps otherwise it doesn't give the correct gold to p2. :eng:

Now that I know I'm against nani, I fear a 0-4 sweep for me, but I shall do my best! :augh:

Thank You--It would explain why I couldn't find the mappack on the 1.8.x add ons!

For my group: doing volunteer work stole my day away from me, but I'll be around tomorrow from around 3pm EST on, and will be willing to play my games then.

You won't go 0-4. Just spam Grunts, and use a few Adepts to the clear their path to villages that you will sit on. Be reckless. 8)

Somehow it feels like this tournament is doomed to fail.
Just too many players around not being able to communicate properly or not showing any interest in continuing. :augh:
There should've been better deadlines beforehand.
