I just changed the resolution to the 848x480 (widescreen) and hit maximize windows that work

i use wine to install and try wesnoth 1.9 for windows OS

Here's the replay of the Mint vs Dauntless game. Better late then never eh?

It would be nice if player that is posting replay could rename it also, having XX amount of replays named mapname_turn25 etc. can be annoying

EDIT: btw. this replay is not working for me (it crashes after I load it), any ideas what to do to make it work?

Turn fullscreen on, then try to load it.

I've kind of did that already. It just loads, I see the game for a 0.5 sec and then it just crashes to desktop.

I raised my Undead hordes from the depths of Crescent Lake again today to invade Elensefar Courtyard held by nagafono's Loyalist forces. The game was quite intense;

Nagafono made a lightning quick attack on the neutral right hand side, killed an archer, stole 2 villages and with a White Mage on the left I couldn't use my first night advantage at all. After that it was an uphill battle for the UD to get back into the game as the White Mage took my second keep on the left and our forces had a staring contest across the fords. Fortunately my flappy bat gave me enough gold from the south vills to see me through.

gunners vs loys: a comeback possible due to the right timing and offer of minimal attack space - and because khorne didnt attack on 2 sides. sorry, i could just recover too well because of the latter. dont give up, you will have plenty of opportunity to get better!

You should contact your group mates about that. It is best to PM them all telling them when you can usuially be online and you can fix some dates for you.

Some interesting games reported there, some of you may not have noticed elido's post has been edited to include the replay, was a nice game to watch.
In addition, all the replays are split up by group in the spoilers in the first page.

Rigor & khorne; I think you used the old TSG there for your game, please ensure to use the updated version in the future.
In general; a lot of these first games are being played on Freelands and CoTB, so I'd like to remind people to keep this rule in mind for future games;

In the group stages you may play no map more than twice

Not much to say, rng decided the game too fast.
Footpads are no longer the answer for dwarfs against ud.

2nd khalifa game of the tournament, this time in sablestone delta. p1 khalifas led by peace, and p2 elves led by Mint.

Spoiler:

Very aggressive khalifa rush on the first day gets halted by the 1 wose. The wose smashed the marksman leader(whatever its called) and took barely a scratch. On my turn, I hit the marksman leader again, and it goes down to low hp. I then knock out a path to it (again with smashy smashy wose) and 1 archer shooting later, the game is done, on turn 9.
