Actually you should put the winner but use the spoiler or section codes to hide the results. Personally I'd rather just know who won. ^^

Congratulations, Daunt!

Really enjoyed this tournament and I look forward for more competitive initiatives such as this one! Thank you, Doc for organizing this and thanks to all the ladder players that actively got involved and participated within it.

Well done, all. I enjoyed hosting this tournament very much, and I hope that you all did too. So many awesome matches- but I suppose that should be no surprise, seeing as we managed to pack the best of the best players into one tournament! :D

And now for the PRIZES phase. 8)

For the sake of convenience, I'll compile and reprint the results and guidelines.

As you guys know, both semifinal series ended in 2-1s, so I've looked to Kolbur and Huumy's round robin results in order to decide third and fourth place.

* * * * *

FIRST PLACE: Dauntless!

SECOND PLACE: Demogorgon!

THIRD PLACE: Huumy!

FOURTH PLACE: Kolbur!

* * * * *

The champion of the Ape Clan has defeated the champion of the Owl Clan, but the Owl, being a clever creature, already plots his revenge.

* * * * *

Now, as I said earlier, in regards to the settlement of the runner up for the Ape Championship:
Doc Paterson wrote:In compensation for the hassle of this poorly defined situation, I've decided to include neki and TBS on the "prize list."
And to review the system:
Doc Paterson wrote: First and second place (in that order) may suggest a way in which their names (or made-up names, or ideas) can be incorporated into an official multiplayer map. I'll grant their requests, within reason. Renaming maps is off-limits, with the exception of the new Hornshark, which I'll allow, if the name is cool enough. ;) Examples of grantable suggestions:

-Name a statue on Caves of the Basilisk after me!
-Work me into the story in a map description!
-Name a unit on the new Hornshark after me!
-Name a unit on the new Hornshark Grumblumugrphrrble the First!

(And so on, and so forth. Feel free to suggest other things.)
Neki and TBS may each name an unnamed unit on the New Hornshark, after first, second, third and fourth place have chosen their prizes. Neki picks before TBS. Neki, because you already "won" a unit and named it Neki, you'll have to think of a non-Neki name.

As I've said, I'd like to end up with names that fit within the Wesnoth universe. So, for example, no naming a unit "Bob Smith." ;) Scrambling the letters in a name though can work, for example, turning Bob Smith into Bith Smob. :P

Here is a list of the available Hornshark units. In case it isn't obvious, the ones with names in parenthesis are already taken.

Loyalists

Sergeant
Young Ogre (P1: Big Baby Bo, P2: Big Baby Dro)
Peasant
Woodsman 1+2 ("Clockwork Boy" *both have the mechanical trait* :) )
Bowman (has ranged first strike, and I'd like his name/nickname to reflect that in some way)

Drakes

Drake Fighter (P1: Rawffus the Dim, P2: Gawffus the Dim)
Skirmisher
Augur
Young Ogre (P1: Big Baby Bo, P2: Big Baby Dro)

Undead

Skeleton (P1: Sorrek, Chosen of Death, P2: Rukhos, Chosen of Death)
Dwarf WC
Dwarf WC Soulless
Saurian WC
Saurian WC Soulless (P1: Rzrrt the Dauntless P2: Tyxrrn the Dauntless)
Ghoul

Elves

Archer
Mermaid
Fighter
Young Ogre (P1: Big Baby Bo, P2: Big Baby Dro)

Knalgans

Dwarvish Scout x2
Ruffian
Thug
Young Ogre (P1: Big Baby Bo, P2: Big Baby Dro)

Northerners

Goblin Impaler
Naga
Orcish Leader (P1: Neki the Brutal, P2: Neki the Brute)
Young Ogre (P1: Big Baby Bo, P2: Big Baby Dro)

* * * * *

So- Post up with your prize requests! I'll almost certainly grant them, provided they're within reason and make sense within the Wesnoth universe (If you're not sure, just ask). ;)

Another big thanks to everyone involved! Dauntless has become the first King of the Frontier, but there are always strange new lands to be explored and conquered! Let's do it again, and soon!

Congratulations Dauntless!
This was a really nice tournament, thank you Doc for your efforts. :)

Unfortunately I still have a little nitpick: Why was the last game played on the old version of Walls of Pyrennis? :hmm:
Guess someone didn't pay attention... (I just realised it when watching the replay btw :lol2: )

Ha! I didn't notice that, and I guess the others didn't either. The match happened when I wasn't around, though that didn't occur to me when I watched the replay. Well, something to be more aware of next time.

Can I give it a 100-100 magical impact melee attack? 8)

Because, that is not the basic form of the shapeshifter.
