If you can get confirmation from the developer that this version is fully comptabile with the downloadable 1.6.4, you can use it, but I've never used the svn branch so I really cannot tell.

If you won't get that confirmation, plz stick to the 1.6.4 :)

It's supposed to be fully compatible, yes. However people make mistakes etc and the occasional bug fix might cause unforseen regressions. I'd say just stay with 1.6.4 for the tournament. You can just svn switch to tags/1.6.4 (or find out the revision of 1.6.4 and update to that) and keep the advantages of using svn.

Remember that you can start playing tournament games since the beginning of the tournament - 14th July 2009, 8:00 of GMT - every game played during the Organisation Week will not count into The GRAND TAG!.

Useful Informations & Hints:

- remember to inform other players in this topic, when will you play your tournament games, I will add this information to the first post of the thread too & will try to be there for you as a GM

- remember that tournament games has to have a "TGT" acronym, number of the game , number of the round & team that participate in their names. Example:
TGT game1 round1 Reds vs Blues

- try to use similar system as shown above when posting about the set games in this topic

- all games should be played on the stable official server of BfW, use alternative servers only if you'll face technical difficulties

- remember that starting ToD has to be fixed so don't forget to turn off "Random Start Time" option

Oh just to inform everyone (Les Nuls in particular), I'm currently in Erfurt, Germany and will be travelling for about a week to Paris and somewhere in Switzerland, so I won't be able to play for the first part of the round; I'll probably have a sub for one game, and when I'm back I'll play the rest of the matches from there for that round and subsequent rounds.
