3vil won.

Game 1: 3vil wins
Knalgans vs Loyalists
Re-watching the film, I realized I completely misplayed turn 19 which lead to me getting annihilated.

Game 2: Kalis win
Loyalist vs Knalgans.
I rushed up the map from the start with 2 spears, 1 mage, HI, and leader and it smashed him apart right away. HI might be a tad overpowered on this map (or dwarves just completely lack a counter for HIs)

Game 3: 3vil win
Drakes vs Northerners
Forgot to save film
Basically, I lost 4 units (2 drake fighters, 1 clasher, 1 glider) for 1 kill at the start due to me rushing for the enemy village, and getting zoced by wolf rider, orc assassin (7 move, which I carelessly didn't pay attention to), troll whelp, orcish archer, orcish crossbow king, and naga fighter.

After that, he just slowly waited and smashed me down.

Onis:
Dauntless (Drakes) vs. Mabuse (Loyalists, win) 1 : 1

last match will be played sunday, 9 gmt

note: this is no replay, it is a saved game, since i forgot to save a replay
- however, you can get your own replay and even play the last round :lol2:

in the end i killed all remaining units on last turn, except leader, which i zoc'ed
(and dauntless then killed his leader on his turn as he attacked a spearman)

there should be enough people to confirm that -
aditionally, the result of the last round can be easily reproduced

if dauntless has a save he can post it.

Note 2:
This is the second Onis Match we played, the first one we cancelled after Dauntless offered a draw on turn 49.
I accepted it because the game started to annoy me too. :lol2:

well, i also thought about a restart earlier, but didnt want to offer it, so i was glad when Dauntless offered it.
Progress (if any) only very slow for either side and the game would/could have lasted easily 30 turn or even more -

still we may even continue this for fun -
i have a replay of this also

First Onis Match, (cancelled):

Decider Dauntless vs. Mabuse

My unsuccessfull leaderkill attempts on both Onis games brough us to the hamlets match,
where Mabuse deserved the win in a Loyal mirror.

Final result:

Mabuse:Dauntless 2:1

Pagan bored TheChosenOne 2:0 ;)

Thanks for the games, were lots of observers and nice chatting.

1st game on Caves of Basilisk was very short cos incredible unlucky hitting by TheChosenOne.

2nd one was quite close. I was unnesessary risking with my leader and at least 2 times could have been punished for it. However luck was on my side in key moments.

Here's the first replay.

If my memory serves me right, I had about -30% inflicted and +25% taken overall, from turn 4-8. I have also never played this map before. Having so much bad luck in the decisive part of the game ended it swiftly in favour of Pagan.

In Sullas, it was more interesting as neither side wanted to attack the other. However, Pagan recruited smartly, saving a lot of money in the progress. I unnecessarily risked my two thunderers trying to kill the wounded drake, and had to pay a heavy price for it. Poor placement of my eastern gryphon also was a factor. In the end, the grandmaster defends the title :)

I never fancied my chances when I knew who my opponent for the second round was. Nevertheless, these two games taught me valuable lessons, more than the dozens of games I regularly play.

Thank you for the fun Pagan, good luck in your next round! :)

Round 2 - Yogibear vs Baufo - 0-2

Game 1: 0-1
Yogibear with Northies (random) versus my Loys (chosen). I executed my attack on the second day very poorly, however got a pretty good leader ctk that worked out.
