Translation to Croatian-help

I want to know who's translating Wesnoth to Croatian language because I'd like to help him/her do that. I see in game that nothing is Croatian altough I changed language in preferences.

Since I'm new to this translation things, I would like to know where to find tutorials for translating and how to edit .po files.

It appears that nothing has been going on with the Croatian translation since 1.5.0 The Croatian translation maintainer also removed his information, so perhaps he doesn’t want to be contacted; right now, it merely says that the Croatian translation needs a maintainer.

Of course, if you want, you could take over the translation and become the new maintainer.

Now, to edit po files, just use something like poedit or Virtaal; to download Croatian po files, go here. As you can see there, so little has been done, thus you didn’t notice anything different when you switched the game to Croatian.

Thanks for the info. I've downloaded all wesnoth files for translating and even a few user made campaigns. I can see that someone who started translating to croatian has made a lot of mistakes, so I'm trying to make it correct. I've already started the translation of core files and editor.

Just one question: When I'm done with the files, where do I upload them?
Got everything else covered.
