Wesnoth international site

After some server problems, Wesnoth intenational site is now up and working.
Our aim is to create a page that helps non-english speakers by providing the basic information about Wesnoth in many languages. Currently, catalan, english and spanish are supported.

How to add new translations?
You just have to translate this file and send the translation to me (PM, attachment, mail to jordaATettinDOTorg): http://ettin.org/vault/wesnoth/wesnoth-intl.gz

EDIT. If possible, translate this file (HTML) instead the other one (plain text): http://www.ettin.org/vault/wesnoth/wesnoth-intl.htm

EDIT. Note that the Wesnoth international website is now deprecated - don't translate this.

I'd help but I can't open your file (I think your server is down) and If it's 500 pages I don't really want to do all of it.

I can translate english to dutch (and flemish, if catalan is a language than flemish is too)

My server is not down. It seems a DNS propagation issue.

Huh? I don't know flemish, but I'm sure that catalan is a language.

Where should we put the credits of website translations?

I just finished the dutch translation but there are some things I don't know for sure

CODE: en

do I have to change the "en" after CODE?

Am I supposed to translate the words in capitals?

If they are to be translated "translations" is "vertalingen" and "footnote" is "voetnoot".

Yes, it should be the corresponding ISO-639 language code.
"Nederlands" (Dutch) -> "nl"

Isn't the 'ultimate' goal that as much as is reasonable from the main site should be included in the International pages?

Then perhaps the Wiki/Forum-links in the top bar should be included - even if the WIKI and Forum themselves aren't candidates for translation. Personally I don't think that it needs to be stated in the top bar that these links leads to pages in English.

It seems to me that the About-page should be easy to include, very little actual text needs to be translated.

As for the Manual, can't the translated manuals that are distributed with the program be reused? I did a quick conversion of the Swedish manual to the format used on the web (fudged in some missing lines - but did not delete some extra text).
