(1) Wesnoth version:

(3) Difficulty:
(for example, Horseman (Beginner); shown by the Load dialog in-game)

(for example, Healer XP Mod or none; only Mods impacting gameplay are meant)

(5) How many times did you restart the scenario from the beginning:
(for example 5 or I don't remember is also valid)

(6) How many times did you load to the start of the current turn or to an earlier turn during the scenario:
(the examples above work here as well)

(7) Comments about the scenario or replay, but that's very optional.

This was kind of brutal, and frankly I think I got pretty lucky to win. And I'm probably behind the curve when it comes to levelling units. The AI has relatively strong units (compared to my level 0 recruits, who also have about 3 HP), and is very hard to hit. I can only recruit 2 per turn. I don't think I could make it to the keep side of the river to use as defense at the beginning, since we start so close together.

So far, I'd put this campaign at least 50% harder than the average UMC when played on easy.
