On what version did you first play Wesnoth?

Post by turin »

I'm listing only the X.Ys, not the X.Y.Zs. So, if you first played with version X.Y.Z, vote for X.Y, not X.Y+1. Does that make sense?

I suspect that most people around here began to play around version 0.7 or early 0.8. I began playing with 0.6.1, which came out in January 2004, IIRC.

I'm going to make a wild guess - the vote for 0.1 was by either Dave or fmunoz. ;)

Other guesses:

Jetryl... 0.6?

Assassin & Cohorts: 0.8?

I never called you that. Assasin's cohort includes Belwar, Warrior King, ILikeProgramming, Nicolas, Sieryu, and their ilk (for no real reason other than I lump them together in my mind).

I think it was 0.8.8, or maybe 0.8.9.

Either way, I've been playing (and lurking) much longer than I've been posting. :)

Well, we did join the forums at about the same time. But I've been playing for about a year before I joined the forums.
