Hi,

How would you play Wesnoth PBEM? Sharing save files by e-mail?

How do you avoid player's cheating then?

Yes, sending save files by email.
Cheats... yes. In PBEM mode you can repeat your turn all the times you want. You can see the situations of enemy army... All the players have equal chances.
Only forbidden is move the enemies elements... and respecting the time to send the save file.
And the most important, PBEM mode is for gentlemen players. ;)

Hi Mesala.
This idea sounds very interesting to me.
Especially the part of "being a gentlemen's game".
The fact that you can see enemy's moves would, of course, be less important, if the whole game started without fog and shroud.
What frequency of turns would you propose? One turn a day, a week, a month?
What maps do you like most? My favourite 1v1 are Weldyn Channel and Fallenstar Lake.

I'd join.
I like beavers.

Great !!!!
I think daily turn is the better option. More time can be slow, slooooowwwww... :D
Weldyn Channel can be good to try the PBEM mode.
No fog and random the race. I like all the armies.
We can create a match like if we are playing in hotseat, make the turn, save, and send the file.
If you want, you can create the match and send me the file. My email is mesala.pbem@gmail.com
