I found it through a website called: www.caiman.us. They have freeware games there, and I was just checking out the RTS games, when I saw this as one of the top games. So I downloaded it, and now here I am. :D

My uncle showed it to me, back in the ancient times (when the Romans still played this game).

I was searching for a good and innovative strategy game for my Mac, tired of WoW and similars. Through Google I've found BoW, downloadable from the Apple's website. Before downloading it, i've searched some more informations on various websites.

I first heard about it when my best friend linked it to me, but it first looked just like an online srpg to me. I just got interested in it lately when someone was looking for a partner to play co-op against the computer and I was like "Wow this game support co-op versus the computer?" (kinda rare in the SRPG world), so I decided to finally give it a try.

i were desesperatly schearching for a game like warcraft3, but a turn by turn game, not a RTS.
RTS stress me, make me nervous, and don't decontract my mind.
I have download wesnoth some years ago, but lost the file before trying, and forget it because i've played angandtk and TCE.
I was surfing to look at a turn by turn strategy game, and remember wesnoth, i tryed it this time, and completly adopted it.
French Player. For now, I'm working on creation of abilitys and units with WML. My goal is to make an enhanced version of Elves, playable with standard campains. HERE : http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php ... 58&start=0

I searched for games to download and then I found this game. It had short download time (it was when it was about 50-80mb) and I downloaded it. I played for some months, but got tired cuz there was maybe 5 peeps online each day ( It could be that I downloaded 1.1.3...xD) so I quitted. 6 months later I downloaded 1.4.1 and there were SO many peeps online :) But there was no good maps and I didnt get any friends there so I quiteed again.. :P

And many months later I started again and tried rumble and got friends like kard. I continued playing rumble very often and later on I got friends like dharokan, onyx and stuff :) (I could mention more people, but I dont want to take all the space xD)

Oh, The website I downloaded it from was named gamershell

I recently found Wesnoth in PC Gamers Magazine of the top 100 free games to play.

I am very glad I found this as I am a fan of Turn based Strategy games.
