The fantastic newsforge.com. It had a link to a review of Wesnoth (0.6.1 and 0.6.99.3, I believe). I was quite excited because just a week or so before I saw the review I'd been looking for a good RTS/TBS for GNU/Linux.

I found this game on macgamefiles.

I made a mistake above and voted for maccentral.com.

Is it possible to change the option to macgamefiles since quite a few folks here have indicated that they found out about Wesnoth there?

I think I'm the only person who voted for maccentral, and that was a mistake too.

MacGamer.com - someone must have tipped them of about the 0.7 release.

You know, I honestly can't remember for sure how I found out about Wesnoth. I think I followed a link to http://www.wesnoth.org -- maybe from a link in a post somewhere (possibly slashdot.org). But in any case, I had to find it in Gentoo Portage to install it, so that's what I voted for.

Other: spotted on VersionTracker site.

I played it a couple of times, recognised its potential despite the fact it is still being developed, and got completely hooked.

It's become one of my favourite ways to give myself grief, playing some of the tricky scenarios - like the valley with the undead!!

The Version 7s are getting to be a really excellent product.

SUSE Linux 9.1 PRO

I was testing SUSE Linux 9.1 on an AMD64 system and noticed it. I stayed late at work playing it and then installed it on my home machines.

It might be nice for a Spanish speaker to update this site...

Windows version is up to date. Mac OS X and Linux versions are not.
As far as I know, users can't update softonic.com directly, though I have sent a message asking for an update.
