How to use planning mode

I know press P to plan but how to implement the plan and let them move, and how to cancel a plan like that, any details on how to using planning mode properly?

Enter planning mode and try it out. It's pretty intuitive.
To add an action, act like you were going to do it in normal mode.
To execute/delete actions, there's another right-click option, or you could press h/y (I can't remember which is which.)
