What is your favourite scenario?
What is your favourite scenario in any of the mainline or UMC campaigns?
My favourites are probably Infested Caves (from Northern Rebirth) and Isle of the Damned (from HttT).

I am a Saurian Skirmisher: I'm a real pest, especially at night.
Re: What is your favourite scenario?
Those are two of the worst scenarios ever. My favorites are the first scenario of IftU (don't know its English name) and Costly Revenge from LoW. And lots of others I forgot to mention. My favourites are probably Infested Caves (from Northern Rebirth) and Isle of the Damned (from HttT).

The Underlevels from THoT
I agree with lipk on hating Infested Caves (as well as Clearing the Mines) and this scenario is somehow similiar (huge, underground and with undead), however, in THoT it's the last scenario (so you have high level units to recall and don't have to worry abou economy) and it has no time limit (so you can enjoy the climactic battle). Also you have healers and your enemy doesn't so the narrow corridors work in your favor.
Honorable mentions: Blood is thicker than water from UtBS and Glory from Liberty

Probably the last one in Liberty. I really like the unique way of destroying Fort... Hallstead? Holstead? Whatever it was called.
Re: What is your favourite scenario?
"Storming Weldyn" from the campaign Trinity.

I gotta say, I like "Test of the Clans" from HttT, with an honerable mention going to "The Human Army" from SotBE.
I kind of like Infested Caves, if only because you control hordes (>50) of footpads.

I like "The Pursuit" on NR.
From UMC, one I enjoyed the most was on "The Way Under/Hydra" of Velensk's The War of the Dragon. http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php ... 96#p339696
EDIT: or "Out of the Frying Pan" and "Blood is Thicker than Water" of UtBS.

Ka'lian under attack (Legend of Wesmere)!
I liked how it was divided in two parts and I just loved the map itself.

Re: What is your favourite scenario?
I started Wesnoth as SP at the end of May 2011 and have finished only 9 out of the 15 main campaigns so far.
Apart from the fact that I loved each campaign, all the stories, maps and animations
I remember the Liberty-campaign due to some new ideas and special scenarios:
4 – Unlawful Orders
transformation of human units into undead depending on the time of day ... a very good idea
5 – Hide and Seek
Now here, for the first time, you have to avoid battles by sneaking through enemy territory ... interesting task
6 - The Gray Woods
What an tremendously large, well done terrain to cover !
8 – Glory
Storming fortress Haslstead ... my biggest Wesnoth-battle so far … at the peak I had to deal with 113 units … Very tough.
I considered it even more difficult than the very challenging Cliffs of Thoria / Heir to the throne
and I´ve never again selected difficulty level "Hard" ...
It took me many hours to win and get out of it with my heroes still alive.
The more I was disappointed, that all efforts were in vain:
Home towns were destroyed anyway, alleys gone, the mystery of their disappearance unsolved ... All the glory and fame for nothing.
On this occasion: Thanks a lot to the developers of Wesnoth … and may be one day some feel in the mood
to create a more satisfying 9th scenario for this well done campaign.

Re: What is your favourite scenario?
IftU and AtS in their entirety, especially the dungeon scenarios. Those're the best
Creator of Shadows of Deception (for 1.12) and co-creator of the Era of Chaos (for 1.12/1.13).

Re: What is your favourite scenario?
The first 6 scenarios of HttT; combination of nostalgia and the fact that they just seem to be well designed down to the smallest detail. Not a single spot of terrain feels 'thrown in'. Plus, the rebels are one of the best factions to play in campaigns, as they're so versatile.
I also happen to like the first couple scenarios in TRoW, along with Clearwater Port.

The Fires of Pride 0.3, a heavily story based campaign.

Re: What is your favourite scenario?
I loved the dungeon scenarios in AtS and IftU, as well as most of the boss-scenarios such as at the end of UtBS. I personally also loved Infested Caves as well because it was such a challenge just surviving and eventually when I managed to push the enemies out it just felt SO SATISFYING, moreso than any other scenario I've ever recalled playing.
