What are you 3rd level favorite unit?

I think i am quite fond of the Death Knight as a infantry. Got the resistances, melee blade and ranged pierce, leadership and common infantry movement.

For mounted, the Cavalier is what makes it for me, oh yeah.

For mages, it has to be the Silver Mage, teleport, resistances, it can kick many things.

Got to think about flyers and other types...

Of course there are always exceptions, but in general, I would much rather have leadership, allowing the lower level soldier to have the experience, rather than a level 3.

i also like to have leadership,, and sometimes healer

I'd go for archmage, nice and powerful, just keep a few healers around em, also really easy to level up to grand mage

I'm shocked to see that not enough people have voted for elvish champion.

With, very high HP, fantastic melee attack and a ranged attack that matches an elvish ranger, it's always going to win in my book.

I only polled 3rd level units form the main campaign.

Where's the Dwarven Lord? That dude is a bad-ass, if a little on the slow side.

in forest? i guess not.(it is possible though)
one of the reasons why avenger is the strongest elvish unit is its ambush and high defense in forest.(on many terrains, luck will do th job for both because they have both high long and melee.)
and i think the reason for a strong avenger is because the elves specialty in weapons is archery.(based on what i have read and on lord of the rings)

Yeah, the avengerÃ‚Â´s best feature is, IMO, that he shoots a lot of damage, can assasinate the leaders, and has also a good melee attack when it comes to real fights.

But the champion is my favorite because he has a great melee attack and shoots very good too. Also I like his style.
