Wesnoth parodies

Post by Dunno »

Last thread was locked due to off-topic nature, so I'm resurrecting it in User's. My main reason for that is the option of uploading stuff directly in thread, making both reading and uploading easier.
I'm re-uploading my first comic and a new one, completely in different style. I'd like to hear which one is better so I could know in which direction I should go :)
Comics#1 & #2

Definitely the first one.

The second one screams "caption competition" not "web comic" (nice punchline though).

It’s really too bad that at 100% zoom your first comic isn’t cooperating with my laptop.

point taken. I just realized that you could comment on almost every event with "stupid RNG". Imagine how easy it is to mock politicians in Wesnoth

I don't understand, the first comic has a standard A4 format... :hmm:

I take it you intended them to be printed on paper and not displayed on a computer screen then.

Haha, I just thought that A4 can be displayed on majority of computers, and I didn't have the patience to dig in preferences. Although I can flip it horizontally from now on (like in the 2nd one)

A4 is a physical size measured in centimeters (or inches, if you prefer). Computer monitors display in pixel sizes. There is not fixed ratio of pixels to centimeters. In order to make it conveniently viewable viewable, you would need to reduce the number of pixels per centimeter.

The dad on the first one doesn't have a leader crown, therefore, he's impotent... The kid must be adopted.
