Can I use Wesnoths sounds in another game?

Does the Wesnoths license allow me to put Wesnoths sounds to my modification pack in the game called Ace of Spades, if I say it's from Battle for Wesnoth?

The mod is just simple gun skins, player skins and sounds, not something like a whole different game.
Ace of Spades allows modifications then.

Well, if you license your mod as GPL then you don't even need to ask. I think it'd be incredibly unlikely that anyone would truly mind if you don't, but unless there's a reason not to, I'd suggest you do that.
