How can I switch to the old MP lobby interface or is that even possible in 1.8?

The 1.8.1 wesnoth haves the older Lobby, but with some changes of 1.8

Thnx all for the infos.
The only problem for me is that I need to compile again (ubuntu)
First I compiled 1.8 coz it wasn't in ubutnu 9.10 repos.
Then after few weeks 10.04 came out with 1.8 in it and a delete my compiled version to install again from repository.
Now (after few weeks again) I need to compile again coz that lobby problem...
It seems there is no rest for the poor deadman
