...in even multiplayer games? Mine is 150, no swarming, but a couple more units than 100.

Usually 100 for normal maps and 75 for 3 or 4-recruit fortresses in medium-small maps.

That being said, I often do survivals with 200gp + Age of Heroes, level 2 recruits only.

Honestly, when I debug, 9999 is usually what I give myself.

For multiplayer, the default amount. More than the default, even a couple units' worth more, changes the game. For campaigns, the more the better

I guess that depends; in Survival Extreme 800 seems to be the rule…

And for campaigns, I create complicated debug systems that render gold unnecessary.
