You've been playing Wesnoth too long when...

Post by Strangelove »

1 - You pause to consider ZoC in chess.
2 - You never go near a tree because it could be a Wose.
3 - When you play a game of cards, you try to turn off autosave first.
4 - You wonder how much it cost your parents to recruit you.

Anyone got more?

Feel free to PM me if you start a new terrain oriented thread. It's easy for me to miss them among all the other art threads.

9. you play Transport Tycoon, get about 70 million $ and calculate you could hire 10 million walking corpses for that.

10. your hands transform over time into such form where its most confortable to type "pwn" and "n00b", as you rarely use any other words.

11. you make a campaign.

12. you make another campaign.

13. you make yet another campaign and as you have run out of good ideas, its about loyalists.

14. you become a philologist because you are intrigued by the sound of the word "pwnd".

15. You stay up way too late working on a campaign, and when you fall asleep you have a dream that a Dark Adept is casting his spells at you and cackling "Die, die, die!"
16. You wake up from the above dream and wonder why you didn't just run up to the Dark Adept and start punching him.

Both these actually happened to me, the other day...

26. You find yourself thinking up "random" fantasy names that actually come from the Wesnoth random name generator.

27. You actually think that all elves have 4-syllable names of unpronounceable gibberish.

28. You realize that you have spent this whole time talking as if elves were real.

29. You believe that elves are real.

Indeed. Apparently, I've been playing Wesnoth for too long for about two years now. ;)

Well, that's probably true.
