Screenshots free for reuse?

I assume the screenshots in the screenshot section are freely available for reuse?

(In this case I want to use one for the Wesnoth review at http://linux.strangegamer.com/).

That is what they were made for. To show the game to players and allow them show it to others. No need to keep the pics on http://www.wesnoth.org only. Feel free to reuse them.

Now that I think of it, since the screenshots are presumably 'derivative works' of the Wesnoth art, they're automatically GPLed...

Yes, but you should be able to use screenshots in reviews just as you would with proprietary games -- it's fair use.
