I can't reproduce the issue on that map :( All the mountains look fine.

It's 100% reproducible for me - I think it's a problem with the Windows installer? I get this message in the log:

Code: Select all

error display: could not open image 'terrain/mountains/dry6_2.png'
Looking at the file Program Files (x86)\Battle for Wesnoth 1.13.11\data\core\images\terrain\mountains\dry6_2.png, it's obviously corrupt.

The file is fine for me with a git clone. I'll refer this to our Windows packager.

The git clone I made that release from was corrupted. I'll remake it, next release should be fine.

@SigurdFireDragon

I played again the scenario CLEARING THE MINE, but the error message did not appear :?
As you said, in any case it had not compromised the continuation of the game, so ... Boh!
SigurdFireDragon wrote: March 4th, 2018, 3:51 pm Also, do you have any modifications running along with the campaign? If so, it is possible one of them might be causing the issue.
I didn't use modifications neither the first time nor the second.

Anyway thanks for your work!

File for reproducing #2608, I can persuade Github's issue tracker to accept save files as attachments.

This will need Ageless Era installed (4.17.0, as is currently on the 1.13 add-ons server). I tried to create a simpler test case, but didn't manage it.

What is the build
https://sourceforge.net/projects/wesnot ... h-1.13.12/
Why it isn't announced on title page and forum?

It's actually preferred that both Mac and Windows builds are available in time for the announcement (this is official policy, documented somewhere on the wiki if I recall correctly). It doesn't always happen in practice though, because if the packagers take too long then the announcement is simply posted anyway.

1.13.11 compiles fine on debian Jessie using the wiki instructions.
1.13.12 will need Stretch to compile on debian, due to boost libs 1.56. i was meaning to upgrade OS anyway :)

I've been testing 1.13.12 & of the mini-map toggle switches only the zoom button works. I always turn off the villages toggle switch because I find it confusing & a clutter. This is why I know it's not working.

The performance issues seem to have been resolved & the game is even more visually appealing than it was before.
