Bug in version 0.7.6
Hi,
I've just downloaded the version 0.7.6 for Windows, and I've noticed (at least) 2 bugs:
first one I was playing in the "siege of Elensefar" scenerio with version 0.7.5, and everything runs find with the save procedure (I use the French translation file). But since version 0.7.6, I have a problem with accentueted character like you can see in the screenshot
Was the font file changed? It seems that the accentueted character are missing in the font file.
But of course when I replace the "?" character by a non accentueted character, I can then save the game
Second problem is that after this scenario, the game told me that it can't find the scenario called "Crossroad" and then the game ended.

Re: Bug in version 0.7.6
the ID of the scenario after Siege of Elensfar in 0.7.5 is "Crossroads" (plural). Was this a typo, or did it try to load a scenario called "Crossroad"?Guillaume wrote:Second problem is that after this scenario, the game told me that it can't find the scenario called "Crossroad" and then the game ended.
If this is the problem then you need to replace all instances of next_scenario="Crossroad" in your savefile with next_scenario="Crossroads".
The original Windows binary had problems, such as those described by Guillaume. It has been removed, and a corrected version is available at http://www.wesnoth.org/files/win-0.7.6fixed.exe
I apologize for the inconvenience.

Re: Wesnoth 0.7.6 released
Yay, thanks! Perhaps, you should turn the '--enable-lite' on by default for this package? Or maybe, some check if it doesn't exist then enable lite. I noticed this when it compiles:miyo wrote:wesnoth-lite should be fully working Wesnoth, it just lacks music and story images (making it smaller and therefore faster to download):

find: music: No such file or directory
But, it's not that big deal since it compiles and install fine.
