Wesnoth Crashes as first turn starts

I have included a document wit the relevant information asked for in the forum. I was not able to figure out the debugger thing. I am a coding-challenged computer user.

The game crashes and closes upon the start of the first turn whenever in play mode. I was hoping there might be some way by reinstalling. Nothing. does the same. used other versions and the same, it crashes in the same place.

step-by-step walkthrough: I can load game as normal, and enter into the lobby, or a local game, or a campaign game. Then after the scenery loads, with the conversation texts, each player does their turn, until it becomes my turn. So if I am 1st player, this is from the immediate start or game play, as a a player, in his turn. The Game crashes at this moment. I can reopen the game, but the same thing happens time and time again.
It started around the 31 of april, 2021. I have tried game reinstall, even trying the installation of a the develepmental version, 1.15.x, I can play games and campaigns on that version, but no one is in the lobby to play with. If I go back into the lobby while in version 1.14.16. I can enter in and watch games, observe, and the changing of turns does not make the game close. It happens when I play.

If you go to Preferences > Advanced > Compress saved games, and change that from "Gzip" to either "Bzip2" or "No", does the problem still happen?

It still happens. I tried both options and both ways it does the same thing.

Check if directory is writable and that you have enough disk space.

I've checked my disk space and i have 266 gigs free for space. How do know or where do I go to see if "directory is writable"

You can try to create a file in it (text file for example). If you cannot then it is not writable.

The application is "writeable" I think. the privilege is set to "lecture and writing/write-abel?" (lectura y escritura)

For example. I have installed Wesnoth
1.12.6 and on this version I can play games, save, etc. On the 1.14.16, I am having the problem at the beginning of turn game crash.

I'm not sure they save the save file into the same folder.
If on click on the i button on the main menu, you should be able to verify that for each version
