Is there a way to not view enemy moves?
Hi :) Yes, go to Preferences -> General -> Skip AI moves

Even with this setting on, all fighting is shown anyway, so you won't miss important information.

There is another useful setting right below - "Accelerated speed". It makes unit move and fight faster or slower depending on the value. If you press shift key in the game it will change that setting while you hold the key pressed. For example, if you set acceleration to 4x but unselected the checkbox, if you hold the shift key during the game then acceleration will work.

You can disable showing of fights in the advanced preferences, turn off "Show combat".

And by the way, if scrolling is the problem, just zoom out :)
