Music stuttering in 1.14
I'm having some really bad music stuttering issues with the Steam version. I do not have this issue with any other games.
In the old days, badly stuttering music and sound meant that you needed to buy a dedicated sound card. These days however, most people don't bother with that anymore, so it might be something that should be be fixed in wesnoth.

Do you have any background processes taking up an unusual amount of CPU time when this happens?

I've been having this problem, as well. Doesn't happen in much more GPU and CPU intensive games.

This happens to me as well. It seems to be a byproduct of more general slowdown / performance issues in this release.

This stopped happening to me. I have no idea what the problem was.
