Download/Install many add-ons

Hi!

I was wondering...is there a way to download/install more than one add-on at the time, through the add-on interface?
Assuming that there is none and that I go for manual and direct download from the addons server....Is it safe to assume that all addons share the same installation folder?

BTW I noticed that dev version (1.11.x) is making very good progresses in improving the interface, but still lacking something like that.

Yes, the folder is the same for all the add-ons.

ah, ok I couldn't find this when I searched for it!
