Recurring crash

Post by howwitty »

Hi I have been dealing with this crash for quite some time. If I remember correctly, the stable builds work and I generally do not have problems when running Wesnoth in fullscreen. Usually this type of crash occurs when running a browser simultaneously, or switching between applications too many times (about 4-7 switches over the course of at most 2h). I am using Wesnoth 1.9.9 on Mac OS 10.6.8. I have attached a screenshot of what I think is the crash report.

This might have something to do with the use of Expose or Spaces.

Interestingly enough, those in fact are errors but that’s not the crash log.

You’ll want to click “Show Log List” and look under “~/Library/Logs” and then “Diagnostic Reports” to see if you can find Wesnoth in there.

It may be this bug: http://gna.org/bugs/?18144
OpenMP will be disabled in 1.9.10, so please mention if that resolves the issue after you get it.

:hmm: Interesting, I'm not the only one getting this problem. I filed a report but I believed I did not provide enough details, so it was ignored.

There are pages of this font error... I don't think it is causing the crash because it seems to happen continually, as opposed to the glyph referencing errors which appear to be isolated in a cluster shortly before the crash.

I could not find any Wesnoth files in the Diagnostic Reports folder, but in Logs there are some Wesnoth files in other locations (from older versions). For example, the folder CrashReporter contains error logs that seem to show breakpoints.

Here is another error list from Console, with some new ones for you.
