All moves used up when multiple units try for village

I accidentally assigned two different cavalry units to take the same village next turn. One grabbed the village and the other didn't, but both their moves were fully used up.

Shouldn't the one that failed to take the village still have its moves left?

if a (non-skirmisher) unit moves into an enemy's Zone Of Control, that unit must stop and loses the rest of its movement (but can still attack).
therefore, do not move both units adjacent to the village before attacking; rather, move one unit and attack then move the other unit and attack if needed or occupy the village.

Manually add a security certificate for gna in your browser (in firefox it works however). There is a button you get when getting the security warning. There's nothing bad about this, just that gna can't pay for the certificate or something.
