Games crashes after player 7 claims a village

I belive its simply a flag color prob.
Might it be that there are no colors defined for players > 6?
And also players 5 & 6 seem to have the same color. (is it pink?)

Yes, the problem is that there are no village image files for beyond six sides. You can fix the problem by adding in images/terrain/flag-team7.png , images/terrain/flag-team8.png and images/terrain/flag-team9.png

This problem is fixed already in CVS.

Btw dave, not sure if you fixed it again after you fixed it the first time I mentioned it,
but the initial fix kept it from crashing, but the village actually dissappeared when claimed instead of showing a neutral flag like you said it should.
(I havn't tried the cvs since shortly after you mentioned the initial fix)
