You definitely need a better translator. You could try to post in your natural language for the time being and see if it leads somewhere.

If you keep your sentences to simple structure and words in French, the translator should work fine. What site are you using to translate?

The "add-ons" button in the main menu is the one you want, but if you really need to (and this will take more effort), you can use the webinterface.
