hey can any one help on this one i got three elvish marshals 4 elvish sylphs and a lot of elvish riders around 10 but i keep losing i have around 1 thousand gold

There are several ways of doing it. Firstly: Do you play on easy, medium or hard?

If you have troubles on 'easy', recruit a lot of elvish fighters and send them east to secure yourself from the WCs (Walking Corpses). You can boost them up with the elvish marshals.Then you should have enough money to send people North and South. Use your Sylphs to heal units.

Remember the Holy Waters, they are helpful! Also use Delfador to attack the South (that's what I do). If that doesn't work, try going south with you leader (defeating the leader there, with all your units). Than you are only attacked from one direction.
