After completing the task [reaching signpost] I have not received 40% gold.
Is it a bug or there is no early finish bonus here?

The Mainline Campaign Feedback, I believe, is for the developers to ask particular questions that are answered by players so they can figure out what to adjust, balance, etc. The developers, don't want random people spamming the thread, so they set the permissions so only they can create new threads.

As for the scenario, did you kill the dwarf leader? Only if you kill him then you get the EFB. Oh, and Kapou'e still needs to reach the signpost then.

Well, unless I'm missing something the objectives say this:

Bonus objective:
Defeat the enemy leader (early finish bonus)

...meaning that you only get the early finish bonus if you complete that objective. You still get 40% carryover gold in either case.

Defeat the dwarf to get the bonus gold. You'll need the trolls help when they arrive, but if you cycle units well enough, you ought to be able to level a few units in this mission.
