Ctrl+v and 'moving one hex at the time' are your friends.

What is important in this scenario is that your units are out of sight from the enemy at the end of your turn. And remember: to be out of sight you need to have at least one hex between you and the max-movement of the enemy.

It's possible that there isn't always a way to slip past the guards without being seen (especially with Baldras, who is slower), but for those cases you could try distracting one guard with Harper so that it opens a gap for Baldras, and then running away with Harper (since he's faster than the guards).

Feel free to post a turn 1 save if you feel it's really hard or impossible to get through the guards, I can always try to improve the way the guards are placed randomly.

And another friend is "turn grid on". In this scenario it's very useful.

A very "cerebral" level. I took two days to complete it, like one of those chess games where you move a piece then go to work and move another piece the next day.

No need to rush, just be careful. Very careful!

Um, I think I'm missing something. Was I just lucky?

I did it in two tries, and that was only because I could've shaved a turn off on the second try.

I never encountered a unit 2_@.

Maybe. When I played it on hard, there was one place where they inevitably had to see me. So, had to fight and then escape.

Same here, Baldar(sp?) was attacked but the attacker died due to Baldar being Lv3.

Since the guards are randomized, try restarting the whole chapter, that might help :hmm:
I hate Baldras cause he's so slow! :x
But I still enjoy the game XD!
