Oh wow, that looks really cool, but if he's on fire, why does he still have clothing...

thats a very legit question. i guess he is magical creature made by necromancy, so....

either way, here is the last corpse line. nothing much to say, basically the default ones only recolored.

2day is a sad day. i just realised that now only have my rider lines severe problems with anti-aliasing, but also my entire horned skels were rendered in 200x200 px instead of 400x400 px. So Is my photoshop project and I don't have any backups. what a bummer...

either way, i will post them, because some of them still look really nice, even if they are a bit blurry and small.

Here come the Vikings... porbably said it, but those are the better portraits I made. this time full 400x400 and transparent. also I gotta say that many resources (mostly heads) I used for franken these portraits, I took from archiac era by doofus.

these are the portraits for the female fighter lv1 only.

What about making the shield on the sprite have the same shape and color of the shield in the portrait? Besides that I think the viking portraits are really good so far (besides the blurriness of some of them).

Nice! I especially like the level 3 portrait and sprite they look really good! :D It is really great that everything has gotten larger by level 3 (shield, sword, bow, cape) so that even though it is a similar portrait it looks considerably stronger!

yes, thats something I tried to accomplish for all of my portraits.

I am not skilled enough to this, my portraits are mostly frankens. Also, tbh I dont find the pattern on the sprites shields very exciting. It's more an homage to the vikings show from the History Channel. who ever watched will know the deal. If me or anyone else would want to make a campaign /scenario with my vikings, I would defintly go back and fix the them up (bluryness/anti-aliasing problems)

until then, here is the spear vikings. pretty much the same only differnt weapon and no bow.

here is the full advancement with the last two portraits of the viking jarl and high-king.

That looks quite good, but the hair texture seems a bit repetitive and maybe you need a add a bit of a fine line on all of the pieces after you're done with them.

yeah, at the time I didn't really knew how to smoothen the textures. but i am not sure what you mean with "add a bit of a fine line on all the pieces" ?

either way, here is the second advancement. the lv3 is probably my favourite and most accurate portrait I did so far.
