So here is a simply modification to the Quenoth animal, who's name I forgot.
Added some antlers and now it looks like a deer. nothing special.

His back legs look too thin, almost like they could break at any moment. They are actually too thin to properly support weight of this deer's body I think. Front legs look thicker than back legs, that shouldn't be the case, back legs should be either as thick or thicker than front legs. Other than that he looks pretty.

Dustbok.

Thats weird, I was convinced I used the dustbok as a starting point, and I did. But yet, now that you say it, the the animal I ended up is a lot bigger then the dustbok, so that would explain why the legs seem to small. Sadly too much time passed to be able to tell my work flow. I also won't come around fixing it unless I am gonna need it one day.

until then, here is the magical version of such deer.

I admire how much this resembles the Voice of the Forest from the Studio Ghibli movie Princess Mononoke. Maybe you can add some "nature" runes around him?

fun fact: that is exactly what I had in mind when editing this unit! Glad the reference was noticeable.

Hello, here is an older sprite I allready posted in Gnat's Art thread and was made for his faction. However I like the sprite a lot and wanted it too be included here as well.

Soon more net, not yet seen sprites will follow....

ghype's Daily Art - Thank You!

Post by ghype »

All sprites from up this point were pretty old sprites, which took long time to post, when actually the last 2 years I spent developing the dunefolk faction. Some of that progress one could have follow in diverse threads and topics. I still want to make all the sprites accessible to users, even though most of them got reworked by doofus for mainline.
For that matter fact I am preparing this thread to showcase all of these sprites that were part of development. Thanks for everyone following me on this journey so far and lets start the new chapter ...
