You're right, it's too much like a tractor lol. Need to make it more elegant, since it's supposed to be of elven design. Any ideas? I've been looking at spore spaceships for some inspiration.

Yeah, it's basically a meat wagon. Unit concept is a cannibalistic elven nation machine that collects dead bodies and sells them in villages, producing gold. Not so great on offense, but produces fear and can take a good beating. Changed its design to be more twiny.

Colored Chimera.

Image
The Skloan Gutting Chimera, a machine that collects dead bodies on battlefields and grinds them up for Skloan consumption. It can store up to three bodies before needing to sell its cargo off at a Skloan controlled city/village. On a village it sells one body worth of meat per turn, earning 5 gold for it. The extra gold is used to make up for the expensive units in the Skloan roster.

Now that I look at it, it kinda looks like a death glider with mutalisk head attached to it.

Unit concept, siege tank in bug form. Acari Striker the Plague special unit, when in immobile siege mode it dishes out bombardment to enemy in 2-3 radius.

p.s. some aura works.

Thanks. Now I will never look at meat grinder the same.
Jokes aside, those are pretty awesome! Except maybe for treasure piles, gold palette is kinda oversaturated, and sprites are too cluttered to spot any details.

The rainbow looked bit strange, so I checked the saturation and indeed the saturation is about 50%.
There is no such thing as gray light, I would suggest to make the rainbow fully saturated, and adjust transparency instead if you need to make it look less intense.
