Re: uncleshelby's art
Yes. Try to work on making the design on the shield darker though. It'll make it stand out more.
Re: uncleshelby's art
There is a huge bunch of semi-transparent pixels. Make sure your brush is fully opaque and has hard edges. Also, avoid rotating objects (especially into non-90 degree angles). The shield, spear and spear arm need clean-up.
edit: Resizing objects (without proper settings) also results into blurry pixels.

Re: uncleshelby's art
One way to make semitransparent pixel visible, is generating a transparent layer behind the picture and fill it with black. Than you can easily delete them and after that delete the black filled layer.

Re: uncleshelby's art
I shaded around the spear better, and made the shading on the shield more like the Elvish Fighter's shield. I think the arm still needs work.

Re: uncleshelby's art
Spear looks kinda fuzzy.
Re: uncleshelby's art
Still lots of semitransparent pixels where they shouldn't be. I attached a pic where semitransparent pixels are replaced with bright red. Hopefully it helps you to see all the problematic parts.uncleshelby wrote:Anything else?

Re: uncleshelby's art
I would take out all semi-transparent pixels first.

Re: uncleshelby's art
Ok, but the should I really take out the shadow? That was already semi-transparent.

Skip the shadow, edit out all else.

The tip of the spear is extremely flat. shade it a bit

Re: uncleshelby's art
I think I got rid of all the non-shadow semi-transparent pixels, and I shaded the spearhead.

The spear top is shaded wrong, I think. You used a gradient shade, which make it look being bended.

Re: uncleshelby's art
I like what Crend added, and he is correct. Its also as if the light source is coming from below, so try to shade only the left side of the spear...
