Reepurr: Probably balancing himself.

Looks good. :D The sword, being in front of the body, is a little hard to read for me, but just a little. :hmm:

I'm a bit suprised about the reactions but actual why not. :)

Still with scarf I like the ambivalent feeling.
We'll if there is a really strong disagreement about it.
This looks great! I can't wait to test it in-game!
(actually, it looks like a, lone wanderer. I like that, fits the Aragwaithi.)

Thanks. :)
Well thanks to Lightfighter I testet them a bit and they don't look half as bad as I imagined.
The Wizzard still needs one or 2 frame.

Added the swordman now. All lvl 1's are halfway finished and animated. :lol2:

Overview:

Image

Yellow has to be redone or slightly reworked green is finished (perhaps not completly animated).

DONE. The new swordsman is included in the add-on.

BTW, can I have the archer files too?

EDIT: Half of the lv.2 and 3's are also "done". I'll edit the first post to make a list of those.

Ooh, pretty cool. :)

My only problems with them are that most of them don't have very distinct eyes, and the level 1 archer seems to be tiptoeing. Otherwise, they're awesome!

I think that's sort of part of the design and look of the entire faction. IOW, intentional. May be wrong, though. *shrug*

Nice.
But I've posted the archer already here. Zip File I.

Well some more are finished, but not really well animated or drawn.
The plan is that I'll try to edit them from tier to tier. To get a more uniform color scheme, slightly better animations and one or the other thing that bugs me.
Next will be the lvl 2s and probably some smaller touchups on the lvl 1s depending on feedback and my oberservations.

@Reepurr
Yeah the archer tip toes a bit but I haven't found a clever solution yet.
The eyes well I gave them green eyes unlikeother sprites of this time.
They are also done slightly different, I can see them quite good on a LCD Screen.
Still I'll take a look at it.

Ditto here.

The archer has sone stray TC, but that is a minor thing.

So some quick fixes(Artcher, Swordman) and a huge patch of frames for the warlock.
New Base frames:

Image
Pikeman all lvl 2s will share these shield, at least those who carry one.

The Flagbearer

And Wizzard. The hood is optional, the flute not.

Well feedback as usual is appreciated.

Flute?
I thought it was an ickle fairy wand. Aww. a wand.

The flagbearer's chainmail seems a bit odd, though I'm not sure why.

mmm...i can't help but dislike that flagbearer, unlike the others he hasn't got any cool cape or something like that, and he's very static
on the other way i loved that test for the swordsman! he's too good to be left out! what about... adding it as a new unit? an assassin? i really think it could add some depth to the faction too, btw

I agree with that, his pose looks akward.

There is already a swordsman in the faction.

I think the shading of chainmail on both pikeman and flag bearer is too simple. The texture is great, but the shading makes the chain skirts look flat. To me, at least.

I can't really read the right arm of wizzard. If she's reaching for her hood (hand near her face, with the elbow sticking outward), her forearm is way too long. If she'd straighten an arm like this it would reach past her knees.

Something that also bothers me, these sprites are a bit too, dark.
The Aragwaithi are supposed to be a noble people, and black shields and no capes don't really reflect that.
