Re: Saurian Campaign: Fossil (ART NEEDED!)
This is very nice, but there are a few things I'd like to point out:
The saurians have fingers that are roughly twice as long as human fingers, so perhaps the skeleton's fingers could be lengthened a bit as well.
I'm not quite sure what's going on with his stomach and back... it looks like he's got a barrel or cylindrical armor, but I'm not certain.
The light is coming from the upper left, whereas nearly all wesnoth units (and all mainline ones) have the light coming from the upper right.
I think we should see his left leg (or left arm, I'm not sure which is showing), because currently it's hidden.
However, you have a very nice shape and posture overall. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

Thanx
The left arm is the one you can see in the background. The left leg is supposed to be hidden behind the rest of the body, but I suppose I can change that.

Re: Saurian Campaign: Fossil (ART NEEDED!)
Very good, just one problem, which is that he is a bit too small. He needs to be at least as tall as the mainline Skirmisher unit. Maybe with some claws and more of a despressed and/or scary look.

Small update.
Anyway, made fingers and toes longer, plus tried to add in his let leg up the back there.
Yer, glowing eyes aren't the best way of making things look scary, but you can keep them if you like.Anyway, made fingers and toes longer, plus tried to add in his let leg up the back there.

Good, good. Just needs to be bigger and more of a menacing head.
I really hope I find someone for portraits...

Bigger? it's already the size of the skirmisher. And it is a skeleton after all...

Okay, it'll work. Are you planning to animate it as well?

I'll give it a try if you like, what attacks are needed?
Also, are you for or against the glowy eyes?

Re: Saurian Campaign: Fossil (ART NEEDED!)
Hello,
I did some work for the Saurian margrave. I'm attaching the linework. I'll further work on the shield so
that it resembles your sprite. Also, I guess we'll want red glow originating from his eyes.
A few notes: For the physiology I took reference from Komodo dragons, and to some extent TSI's mainline
saurian portraits. This is the reason I'm posting it at this stage. I may need to beef up his upper hind legs for
example (or should i?). Some of you may think he looks like a human, but hes not as his shoulders are
considerably narrower compared to his waist. Also, TSI's portraits had 4 fingers if I counted right, but all my
lizard photos had 5, so I decided to settle on 5. Wanted to give him somewhat unshapely long fingers but when
I look at it, I may need to deform his left hand a bit too. Oh and around his tummy he has a some chainshirt
kinda thing, at this scale it may look ugly though. Lastly, as you can see I worked him wearing some protective
suit. Now we all know that saurians have physical damage vulnerabilities, but since he's a lordling I thought he'd
deserve one. I don't know his stats you used in your campaign. These are all I can think of right now,
let me know what you think.

That's some excellent linework
The only thing that jumps out at me right now is the position of his right hand on the spear, which don't seem to be aligned.
