unfortunately i had no time to work some more on asthrogar. but i'll change the shapes of the quilts, they were really sloppily drawn and i hoped nobody would notice :P since i really like his postue i won't change the way he's holding his axe, you're right, it would be a little more realistic if it was more asymmetrical, but i don't want to loose the gravity of the figure.

and thanks Noy for the interesting link! really worth listening to if you're interested in portraiture.

On a more serious note, Asthorgar looks awesome! I'm likin' that axe.

Asthorgar's belly reads fine now =)

And the elyssa-cyborg looks cool =D I prefer the version with hair, if you want some input on which looks cooler =)

i hope she won't read too borg-like, perhaps i'll change the armour's colour slightly. damn cyborgs...

and i hope both versions will be usefull - there is one scene with her wearing a metal mask and later one without.

I found myself surprised at how creepy cyborg-Elyssa looks. I'm not sure why I'm surprised; you've certainly demonstrated a diversity of personality types in the past, but something about the skin, face, and jaw armour gives me the chills. :o

Must be too long since I played the game. Cyborgs.

Perhaps I minor nitpick the mask feels to rounded and a bit tpo wide at the top. Just my 2 cents.

Maybe uncover the belly in the right one? I don't know the character, but the two pictures seem like they capture different extremes:
left one has a human body and metal head
right one has a metal body and human head.
I think a combination would look nice (not that they don't already look nice, they are in fact both quite good :) ).

Just to be different, I'm gonna say I got more of a RoboCop feel from Elyssa (remember, towards the end of the first movie we see Officer Murphy's face after he removes his upper head covering). I always wondered what happened to her.

I'm afraid I do not have much to add to the discussion except encouragement. These are turning out great and inspired me to try out Invasion of the Unknown again. Good job.
