All of your spritework, especially these bits, reminds me of Cortex Command.

A great game by Data Realms.

Unfortunately you can only get a demo at this time, and you have to pay for the full version. It's totally worthit though, I think.

I made an Elder Mage necromacer and decided to share the masks for recoloring the robe, skin and beard.

Usage for noobs: You need layers. Place the base-image on the bottom and rest on top of them. The masks are single color so it should be easy to change them. Then just change the layers' modes from Normal into Color (or other suitable).

Make some, then :) The francken pack is hardly up to date with the actual sprites, anyway, imo. I'm not much of a franckenpack user, though...

What does you think of this? It took me almost a minute to be made. hehehe.
I used the bigger wooden shield to make this, but this shape is different. Do you like it? =D

Let us know if you make something with it. It's always good to see that the packs are being used, and it can inspire current artists to keep them up to date.

I HAVE RETURNED!!! (Dramatic Fanfare)

since there's been a lot of progress in the mainline sprites, and so many things have been redone, there is now a lot more stuff to chop up. I plan to get to work on making new, updated very soon frankenpacks soon. I am glad I was able to contribute something useful to the wesnoth community, and now that I have some free time on my hands and my wow subscription has run out I look forward to making myself helpful again.

Suggestion:
In a totally non-perverted way, could someone draw the various races in the minimal acceptable attire with short hair (fins/scales/spines)? Would be a HUUUUUUGE favor to franken artisits! I't give it a shot but I'm actually employed for once and so no time, also a lot of other projects I'm working on.
...apparenly we can't go with it or something.
