Stick Figure Era

Post by JW » January 5th, 2006, 5:13 pm

Stick figure Era

Yes, this is going to be a comical era made exclusively by me. Yes, it will be playable and hopefully enjoyable. Also, expect to see definite gameplay differences in strategy. ;)

It is meant to be entirely light-hearted. plan on creating the factions and units alone so as to not waste anyone elses precious time. If anyone else would like to add something however, I'm not going to stop them. This is entirely for fun, so I'm going to make it that.

----ps, this was a horribly stupid idea.

I will create this era as a complete escape from regular Wesnoth. It will, in essence, be a joke that will be addictively fun to play. (I hope.)

---or not.

Yes!! This is going to be a comical era made exclusively by me. And yes, this is art that I can create - so I won't need help!!

Basically, this will be a great output for my Wesnoth creativity while I wait for my Shifter faction to get some art. :p

Here's some art!! hahahaha, I love it!!
call it the "kingdom of loathing" faction
Hope springs eternal.

Dibs on the Penguin Slayer!

JW has my official support in this wonderful escape from reality.

Just think, Turin, a faction with art! That anyone can supply! Even me!

Now for a tree...

By $DEITY! this is by far the grahically nicest, most balanced, bestest era ever! it must be added to mainline!
A statement within a signature is a body of absolutist assertions designed to shelter those who cannot abide the cold, hard realities of actually having to prove their claims.

If this wasn't an open source game it could be added as a secret, unlockable easter egg. While a lot of players probably have never even looked at their Wesnoth installation directory, I don't think such things work as well in open source games.

I was going to make this the surprise awesome part, but could you make them a different color, like red?

That's how factions are going to be decided. ;)

ps, I call the Black sticks. =D

If you make the stick figures magenta, you can use TColor to make them automatically change color.
